LOL....Heretic actually read my blog. Thanks for the post in #r-respond.
We spent the afternoon geocaching. For those of you that don't know, geocaching is going to find a hidden little box hidden amongst the leaves, or stuck somewhere just out of site. You find a container and sign the log. You can actually exchange small treasures in them. Some of the containers have been unique, from small perfume sample bottles/tubes, to cookie tubs you'd get at christmas time. My dad mentioned it a few years back and though we got hooked way back then, we have only found 27, mostly due to the fact that when we're going out, we leave the gps at home, or leave the coordinates on the desk.
Today we went out and found 6. All of them were within 10 miles from the house. I only picked 6. I could have chose more, but I didn't think the kids would have held out much longer, for the quick finds in the park without actually being able to stop and play. Therefore, we did 6. The last being at said park, and we ran and played and had races. They soooo needed it after such a long and stressful week.
Then we went to Big's Pizza for lunch. Kind of like Chuck E Cheese crossed with Shakeys, and they serve beer. Hubby bought a pitcher and kiddo spilled half of it on his lap. LOL... that was fun. So Mr. Beer Balls and I came home and let the kids watch a movie while we cut back the BIG tree in the back yard.
Boring day for all of you, but fun as hell for us.
Thanks for reading!
