got any money?

It's been a struggle around here to make it through the days: lots of tears, fights, stress in general. Pretty much how your basic nightmare would be. Once in a while we get a moment to just sit back and laugh. This is just one of those moments.

::hubby calls me from work to ask about tonight's plans, since my sis in law is taking us out.::

Him: You excited?
Me: A little. As long as we don't get into it again. How was that lunch meeting?
Him: We won't. Meeting was at the Brick Oven Pizza Place, not the brewery.
Me: Ah, well good thing he interrupted our last call or you'd be walking in the wrong direction from the site. So what time you coming home?
Him: In about half an hour.
Me: Ok. (paused) So am i gonna.....
Him: (interrupting me, like always) You got .....
me: (finishing) get any?
Him: (finishing) any money?

Him: Not that you need any money to get some.
(a pause before both laughing)
Me: I'll start counting the pennies now.
